Pachie Yuzy Honda Racing's Amirul Ariff Musa penned a small part of the Asian series history when he became the first Malaysian rider to ever qualify for pole position in the Underbone class whenever the race is held in Indonesia. Amirul's fastest time of 1:55.994s clocked during the qualifying practice of the Underbone 115cc class in Round 2 of the 2012 PETRONAS Asia Road Racing Championship held at the Sentul International Circuit not only earned him the prime starting position but also racked up a new lap record at the 3.96km circuit.
