During the race, Amirul Ariff Musa who had tried to use the power of his bike to run away from the rest of the group found the strategy hard-going. The lead was only temporary when Hadi Wijaya, Denny Triyugo, Yudhistira, Rey Ratukore, Md Affendi Rosli and Ferlando Herdian quickly caught up. However, it was young Japanese rider Kaito Toba who caused a stir amongst the spectators when he placed himself fourth in the closing laps of the race.

In the final lap, Md Affendi Rosli tried hard to push and high-sided out of the race. Just as it had happened in the Asia Dream Cup, a similar crash just before the finish line occurred between Kaito Toba and Amirul Ariff Musa. Both riders walked away from the crash. Ahead of them, Hadi Wijaya sprinted to his second victory of the day with a total time of 20:01.149s followed by Yudhistira with 20:01.162s and Gupita Kresna in third with 20:01.540s. Malaysian rider Norizman Ismail claimed fourth position with 20:02.283s while Rey Ratukore ended the race in fifth with 20:04.881s.

Hadi Wijaya now leads the Underbone 115cc class with a total 86 points haul. Norizman Ismail dropped to second overall with 62 points and Rey Ratukore is third overall with 60 points.
